Loading... Please wait...Before you start, make sure your BlackBerry mobile phone battery is fully charged.
Insert Original SIM Card and turn OFF ALL wireless radios.
1. Go to Home Menu--> Turn Wireless Off (Will show Turn Wireless ON).
2. Go to Options--> Advanced Options--> SIM Card
3. Type MEPD (not case sensitive). This step opens up the personalization screen on your BlackBerry device. Please Note: When typing in MEPD the letters will not appear on the screen.
4. Type MEP (not case sensitive), then hold ALT key and type number 2 Note: When typing in MEP2 the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the "Enter Network MEP" box. If you do not see "Enter Network MEP" box, you didn't type in MEP2 properly.
5. Enter Unlock Code and enter. (Make sure you press the Enter Key within 5 second or you have to enter the unlock code again).
6. You will see a Code Accepted message. Your phone is unlocked.
Restart the phone and follow steps 1 & 2 and restore connections.
Please note that some phones will not require a SIM Card to unlock. If the above instructions do not work, then remove the SIM Card and unlock.
OR
Follow the above instructions and type MEPPD at step 4 and MEPP2 at step 5.

FOR GSM BLACKBERRY MOBILES:
Please make sure to type the code correctly, do not retry if the code fails.
IF CODE FAILS OR THERE IS A CODE ERROR, FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
For CDMA BlackBerry Mobiles.1. From the home screen of the Blackberry, press the green call button to enter the phone.
2. Once you received the code via email, Type in ##MSL/SPC CODE then the green talk button (i.e.: ##123456 Green talk button).
3. At the top you will see the "Mobile Directory Number", in the CDMA service edit screen, delete the number (000000xxxx) and replace it with your current phone number.
3. In second line, change your IMSI number. You can get this number to your cell provider.
4. Press the BlackBerry button and choose save. You will see a message box "Write successful resetting device"
5. The device will re-boot.
When the device re-boots, Activation Required will be gone and the active carrier name will now appear. Press the talk button and you will see your phone number under my number at the top. Your phone is unlocked.
